Going pink

So finally, after 2 months of trying to get to that enough pale blonde I finally did it! :D I already wrote about the prep for the bleaching and also the bleaching session that I had my hair go trough. When I wrote that post, it was after my last lightening with a hair dye and a 30 volume oxy.

After that I have used silver reflex shampoo from Keune for about 2 weeks which made my hair quite pale gray, which is what I was looking for. I can say that this silver shampoo is on my top list, even tho I used only 2 brands but this one is actually far more darker than the selective one, like almost black. And I think it's more for people who want that white/grayish tone instead of just brassy-free blonde.

Before going pink:

This picture is 7 days after I used the silver shampoo for the second time.

(Notice the strand test, there were actually few more on the other side xD )

What I used for this pink project? I actually used a line of Spicy Color "rosso playa flamenco". It is actually quite dark purple with pink undertones which makes it perfect if you want to go pink, because it will actually last you a long time. And who doesn't want to save money on these things?

I diluted color with a hair mask from Garnier fructis line. Important thing is if you are using ether conditioner or hair mask to dilute your color you should make sure that it doesn't have silicone in it.

Why?

Basically, if the hair product has a silicone in it, the hair wont take the color.

And also make sure that the conditioner/hair mask is white color. You will only mess up the color.

In the process, after 3 hours of strand tests in hope of finding the right pigment.

Final result:

It is a quite nice pink tone, the ends are bright pink while the hair close to roots are peach tone with a blush of pink. I actually like this hair color a lot even tho it's not even throughout. Maybe that is better than having full pink, because it might look more like a helmet with my hair being super thick and in desperate need for a trim. However, I'll be probably re-dyeing my hair pink after 7 or 8 days after a trim.
